Farm Fresh Eggs

Our farm fresh eggs can be stored on the counter, for up to a month, if they haven’t had the bloom washed off. The bloom is a protective coating from the hen that covers the shell of an egg from bacteria and moisture.

Unwashed eggs will keep in the refrigerator for three or more months. You should store your eggs fat end up or wide end up. This is because the wide end has an air pocket, keeping the air pocket at the top, helps keep the yolk centered and the egg fresher longer. If you prefer washing your eggs before putting them in the fridge, after washing make sure all the moisture is off the eggs before putting them in the fridge, they should keep for up to two months.
